This past weekend the Westlake Crossfit crew spent the weekend in Dallas and participated in the LifeasRx'Tour competition. For many of our athletes, this was their first exposure to competition atmosphere as competitors and they ALL did fantastic! I couldn't be more proud of our athletes in that they met the challenges head on and had a blast while doing so. I definitely sense that a bunch of athletes got bit by the bug and can't wait to do more competitions. We had a team and 1 female / 1 male finish in the top 20!! As for myself, this was my first time back on the competition stage since the injury. Although I was on a team and didn't do much, it felt fantastic getting back out there! Looking forward to Fight Gone Bad in September!
