Reflect

One effective habit I have developed is the art of reflecting. I make time every week to reflect on my accomplishments and shortcomings of that week. This is a time when I hold myself accountable for all my actions. I am honest with myself and am not afraid to admit to the things I may need to correct. I am also not afraid to recognize things that I have done that I consider accomplishments. This reflection time keeps me attentive to my goals and my desire to work on my shortcomings. Its very easy to become distracted and lose track of a purpose , but taken time to yourself and reflecting can help a great deal. Write down things you would like to accomplish and things you would want to personally improve on. Understand that there will be a price to pay , recognize what you will have to give to accomplish these things and set a time to reflect on your progress . Remember deciding to do something and actually doing can be the difference in achieving your goals.

Westlake Crossfit

Westlake Crossfit is being built upon amazing individuals dedicated to bettering themselves and inspiring others to do the same. Its a blessing that those who have and will come to us share this common goal. Great things can happen when similar minds are drawn together with a specific goal. It is not far fetched to think that we can change the world. Because of all our members hard work and persistence , they have not only elevated their personal well being but through our recycled human energy program they have bettered the lives of people living in poverty. This is world changing!!

Izzy

Izzy came into our noon classes about 2 weeks ago. When he first came in he felt- im sure like most people a bit anxious and uncertain. It didnt take long for Izzy to realize the effects that crossfit could wage on his well being. Izzy has since taken major steps in correcting his diet , improvingon his flixibily and being consistant with class attendance. Great job Izzy , do work son!

What does Crossfit mean to you?

To me, Crossfit means developing a way of life that looks at challenges as opportunity to grow. To me, Crossfit means the constant pursuit towards excellence. To me, Crossfit means seeking to understand the body and its intent to move freely and efficiently. To me, Crossfit means awareness and implementation of sound nutrition.

The Wave

Big thanks to Crossfit Texas who invited me out for the Grand opening of their new location. The day was kicked off by Fight Gone Bad, a workout for a great cause. Congratulations on the awesome facility guys.
Special congrats to Boone and Wes of CrossfitAustin on their new affiliation. These guys make a great team !! It such a great thing to have well knowledged individuals bring Crossfit into the lives of many. This can only yield a movement dedicated to delivering true fitness to the world. Im grateful for having a role in this remarkable revolution thats taking place.
